Eligibility for Computer Requests


While we aspire to offer affordable technology to all, our primary focus is on providing internet solutions and computer access to those in greatest need in the greater Philadelphia area. Customers must be part of a government assistance program or have a household income below 200% of federal poverty guidelines or 60% of area median income for initial qualification.

Hyperware Foundation necessitates photo ID and income proof to confirm eligibility before finalizing any requests. The photo ID and income proof will be expected within days of contact confirmation.

Acceptable Documentation

We require Photo ID and Proof of Documentation of Income

For Photo ID, we accept Driver's License or State ID Card, Passport, Formal ID Card (Veteran or Student), or Company or Work-Issued Identification

For Proof of Income we accept:

  • A Social Security statement of benefits

  • A Veteran Administration statement of benefits (VA cards alone are not accepted)

  • A retirement/pension statement of benefits

  • An Unemployment/Workmen’s Compensation statement of benefits

  • Federal or tribal notice letter of participation in General Assistance

  • The prior year’s state, federal, or tribal tax return (W2 forms or pay stubs are not acceptable)
